GBS10 is a parachute safety system designed by company with more than 30 years of experience with parachute safety systems. Patented technology guarantees minimum rescue height starting from 5 meters and parachute opening in less than 1 second. Wide range of possible weights ensures that anyone with UAV up to 120 kg can use GBS10 system. System is upgradable to support any aircraft up to 2400 kg.

The GBS10 system consists of many parts with different cycle expectancies. Pyrogenerator is for one-time use only and has to be replaced after every activation. The lid, the piston, and the container are designed to withstand at least 6-7 times of usage. Every part of the system has to be carefully examined before reuse and the parachute has to be repacked as instructed. Every spare part can be bought in advance except for the container, if the container gets damaged, purchase of the whole system is needed.

The biggest part of GBS10 is the container where parachute is stored. This part needs to be placed in a way that the parachute can eject safely. Apart from that, the container can be placed anywhere and can be built into the UAV if the design allows it. Visit our installation gallery to see photos of installed GBS10.

GBS10 is connected to your UAV powertrain so the system doesn't need its own batteries. However, a backup battery may be connected but it's not necessary to have one.

No, the GBS10 system doesn't have its own remote control, however, we are currently working on such a device, follow our company's LinkedIn for updates.

Container, parachute and other parts can be transported without any problem. For tranporting pyrogenerator a special certified capsule which comes with every pyrogenerator must be used.

According to automotive tests (AKL-LV16, USCAR-28) we guarantee at least 5 years or 100 flight hours, whichever comes first. However, these pyrogenerators are designed to be used even after 15 years.

Yes, it's common to use more systems either to make the UAV even more safer or to decrease descending speed more. We don't recommend using two parachutes as they are prone to unwanted rotation and overall destabilisation of descend. Any number of systems except two is usable.
